The staff sent us to the “backyard” to wait and the pieces quickly came together that this was a restored, renovated and expanded historic home. It was a weeknight and the place was packed– a tell tale sign of a good restaurant. The reviews landed us in the historic district of downtown Sarasota at a little house-like restaurant nestled between a pink move theater and a strip of high rises. Our evening at Owen’s Fish Camp was one such experience.Īfter a busy day venturing from Tampa -> Apollo Beach -> Siesta Key we found ourselves Yelping around Sarasota for a spot to eat dinner. Good food, beaching, shopping, and adventures were daily occurrences but some things just need their own posts. February and March both graced us with Florida visitors. ![]()
